Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role handles work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units, while supporting grounds and common areas.

Responsibilities include inventory management, safety compliance, and timely documentation of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and making repairs per policies and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by performing pre-move-out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, and inspecting work.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and track inventory, returning unused items and notifying on re-ordering needs.
• Completes paperwork to document service requests for tracking and accountability.
• Maintains grounds, common areas and amenities by cleaning, painting, and performing related tasks.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Performs routine property inspections to ensure safety and asset condition and communicates any concerns to management.
