Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the company's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will diagnose resident requests, perform preventative maintenance, complete make-ready tasks for vacancies, and follow safety policies while documenting work orders and coordinating with the maintenance team. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I and/or II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on the property following safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move inspections and vendor coordination.
• Track inventory and coordinate with maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost control by repairing parts instead of replacing when possible.
