Job summary

Middleburg Communities in Durham, NC is seeking a Service Technician to join our maintenance team. You will assist in overseeing assets, perform preventative maintenance, make-readies, and handle general grounds services to keep our properties in market-ready condition.

You will work under the Service Manager and Property Manager, communicate clearly, follow safety policies, and support resident services with timely repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and janitorial tasks per schedule.
• Assist with apartment turns, renovations, and repairs to meet market-ready standards.
• Maintain inventory and ensure safety compliance during maintenance activities.
• Respond to resident repair requests promptly and professionally.
• Operate and use standard maintenance tools and equipment safely.
