Job summary

Morguard is seeking a Service Technician to perform hands-on maintenance across our multifamily communities in North Carolina. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems, and complete make-ready tasks to ensure market-ready units.

The role requires at least 2 years of residential maintenance experience, EPA Universal certification, and a valid driver’s license. You will work on a rotating after-hours on-call schedule and support property operations with

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of residential maintenance experience including work orders and make-ready turns.
• Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs and general maintenance skills.
• EPA Universal certification is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and inspections.
• Track materials and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas and amenities including cleaning, painting curbs/signage as needed.
• Help reduce costs by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
• Participate in quarterly preventative maintenance program.
• Rotate after-hours emergency on-call per guidelines.
