Job summary

Middleburg Communities seeks a Service Technician to maintain assets, perform general upkeep, and support apartment turns. You will work under the Service Manager and Property Manager to ensure quality, safety, and curb appeal across our communities.

The role requires hands-on maintenance in plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor rehab work, plus strong communication and teamwork to meet service standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Proficient in plumbing, painting, drywall, electrical, and life-safety equipment.
• Understanding of building materials and tools.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections as scheduled.
• Assist with apartment turns and renovations.
• Complete daily maintenance requests and document status.
• Ensure curb appeal and safety across the property.
• On-call responsibilities on weekends and after-hours emergencies.
