Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance and make-ready work on apartment communities in Avondale, AZ. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety-compliant operations across building systems.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, managing inventories, assisting with grounds and common areas, and supporting cost-control measures while ensuring high-quality outcomes for residents and property health.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance, diagnosing defects and performing repairs per safety standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch list, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are finished.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and notify supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Document work orders accurately and promptly for proper logging and tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
• Assist in property inspections to identify safety concerns and report to management.
