Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical buildings and common areas meet safety and quality standards at an on-site property in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves responding to work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting make-ready processes for new move-ins.

The ideal candidate will maintain documentation, manage inventory, and follow safety and policy guidelines while contributing to property upkeep and cost-control initiatives.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas: cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and assisting with upkeep of amenities.
• Supports cost-saving efforts by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
