Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Avondale, AZ to perform essential maintenance across the property, ensuring safety, cleanliness and functionality of buildings and common areas.

You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, prepare vacants, manage inventory, document work, assist with grounds and upkeep, and support cost-saving measures while complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Maintenance or repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety policies.
• Basic electrical/plumbing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests and preventive maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Completes make-ready processes for vacant apartments, including inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks materials and notifies supervisor for reordering.
• Documents work and services for proper record-keeping.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; assists with painting and cleaning as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
