Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property's buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will diagnose and repair issues, complete make-ready tasks for new residents, and manage inventory alongside documentation for service requests.

On-site role with a focus on efficient maintenance, safety compliance, and timely task completion.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• Certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance on the property.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection and vendor coordination.
• Tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor on re-order needs.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and amenities; cleans, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Assists in cost control by repairing rather than replacing when possible.
• Supports routine property inspections to identify safety needs and report them.

Education
