Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings meet standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality across common areas. The role includes diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, completing make-ready tasks for vacancies, and documenting work orders with accuracy.

Responsibilities extend to grounds upkeep, occasional travel to assist other properties, and adherence to OSHA and safety requirements. EPA refrigerant certs and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications are required for technicians.
• Certifications must meet state/local jurisdiction requirements.
• A valid driver's license is required to operate golf carts on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety codes.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant homes including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Monitors materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervision for re-orders.
• Documents service work for proper ticketing and tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

State and Local certifications as required by jurisdictions

Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property
