Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds and amenities meet safety and cleanliness standards. The role involves completing work orders, making repairs, and preparing vacant units for leasing, with a focus on efficiency and safety.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal, plus state/local certifications and a valid driver's license for on-property tasks.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 & II or Universal required.
• State and Local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing by conducting pre-move-out inspections and creating a punch list of maintenance tasks.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor for reordering needs.
• Documents service work promptly to keep records accurate and traceable.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing components rather than replacing parts when feasible.
