Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of our communities meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance across buildings, grounds, and common areas.

You will handle work orders, complete make-readies for new move-ins, manage inventory, and document all tasks. Requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in related work, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in property maintenance or related trade.
• EPA refrigerant certification required or preferred depending on jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete the make-readie process for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors.
• Track inventory, procure materials, and notify maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Document work and maintain records for service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with OSHA and safety requirements.
• Inspect work by vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
