Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to service buildings, grounds, and common areas. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and assist with make-ready inspections to prepare units for new residents.

Responsibilities include inventory control, documentation, and adherence to safety standards. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certification are required, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I/II or Universal) and applicable state/local licenses.
• Valid driver's license is required to operate golf cart and related property equipment.
• Demonstrated safety compliance and ability to perform preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing, conduct pre-move-out inspections, and coordinate repairs.
• Track materials, inventory, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service work clearly for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning, painting, and minor repairs as needed.
• Contribute to cost control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
