Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle general maintenance of interior and exterior common areas on-site in Brookhaven, GA. The role involves custodial duties, grounds work, basic landscaping, pool care, and make-ready preparations, with a focus on timely task completion and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of maintenance experience, plus ability to operate common maintenance tools and power equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience preferred.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties around the property and maintain common areas.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance/Community Manager.
• Thoroughly clean breezeways and power wash as needed.
• Execute basic landscaping: trimming, pruning, watering, irrigation checks.
• Assist in make-ready units and trash outs prior to occupancy.
• Operate equipment safely: power washer, blowers, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners.
• Assist in pool maintenance and basic care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies after hours.
• Complete work orders within 24–48 hours with clear records.
• Perform repairs to maintain aesthetics and structural integrity.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
