Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the property's interior and exterior cleanliness and perform general maintenance. You will respond to tasks quickly and ensure common areas meet safety and appearance standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in maintenance, and knowledge of basic trades such as carpentry and drywall. The role is on-site with a flexible schedule and varied duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience.
• Knowledge of skilled trades: construction/installation, repair, drywall, basic carpentry.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties and maintain common areas.
• Complete grounds work including trash removal and power washing.
• Clean breezeways, doors and handrails; power wash as needed.
• Assist in make-ready units and trash outs prior to occupancy.
• Operate power washer, backpack blower, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaner, sweepers.
• Respond to on-call and after-hours maintenance assignments.
• Complete work orders within 24–48 hours and update records.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety/environmental laws.
