Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Pooler, GA to perform general maintenance and keep common areas clean both inside and outside. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and timely task completion.

You will handle custodial duties, grounds work, basic repairs, pool maintenance, and make-ready preparations for new units. A high school diploma or GED is preferred with 1+ year of maintenance experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related field experience preferred.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, and upkeep.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties around the property and maintain common areas.
• Complete grounds work as directed, including trash cleanup and power washing.
• Thoroughly clean breezeways, carpets, doors and handrails.
• Assist in make-ready units and prepare vacant apartments for new tenants.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Assist with pool maintenance and basic chemical adjustments.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and after-hours calls.
• Complete work orders within 24-48 hours and document progress.

Education

High school diploma or GED

1+ year of maintenance experience

General knowledge of skilled trades including construction/installation

Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines

Good organizational skills and attention to detail
