Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle interior and exterior upkeep of the property, ensuring clean common areas and timely repairs. The role involves custodial tasks, grounds work, and basic make-ready duties, with responsibilities including pool care and safety compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in maintenance or related fields; standing, lifting, and outdoor work are common requirements. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties around the property and maintain the common areas.
• Complete grounds work including trash pickup and power washing as directed.
• Clean breezeways, power wash, and wipe doors and handrails.
• Assist in make-ready units and remove trash from vacant apartments.
• Operate maintenance equipment safely (power washer, blowers, floor scrubbers).
• Assist in pool maintenance and basic pool care.
• Respond to emergencies after hours and complete work orders within 24-48 hours.
