Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle interior and exterior property upkeep and general repairs. You will maintain common areas, assist with make-ready units, and support pool and landscaping tasks while following safety and OSHA guidelines.

The role requires the ability to work outdoors, stand for long periods, and respond to emergencies, with a flexible schedule that includes weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, and maintenance, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties around the property and maintain common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash).
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager (trash, power washing, debris removal, etc.).
• Clean breezeways by removing cobwebs, cleaning lights, mopping floors, power washing, and wiping doors/handrails.
• Assist in basic landscaping: trimming, watering, irrigation monitoring, debris removal.
• Prepare make-ready units (remove trash from vacant apartments).
• Operate equipment: power washer, blowers, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaner, sweepers, golf carts.
• Assist in pool maintenance and basic pool care.
• Respond to on-call and after-hours maintenance requests promptly.
