Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality across buildings, grounds, and common areas. The role performs preventive maintenance, handles make-readies for new residents, and manages inventory, documenting service requests.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by performing inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Follows procedures to access materials from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts when possible and using tools and supplies efficiently.

Education
