Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

Eligible candidates will diagnose and repair issues, complete the make-ready process for vacant units, and document work orders with accuracy. The role involves inventory tracking, vendor coordination, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have proven ability to diagnose and repair building systems in a timely manner.
• Make-ready duties to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Track inventory, access materials, and coordinate with vendors when needed.
• Document work orders accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Access materials and track inventory; notify maintenance for reorders.
• Document all maintenance in a timely, accurate manner.
• Assist in grounds and common area upkeep; follow cost-control practices.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
