Job summary

Greystar’s Service Technician role offers hands-on maintenance across properties, diagnosing and repairing systems to keep buildings safe and presentable. You will handle work orders, prepare vacants for leases, and assist with groundskeeping and general upkeep.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1/II or Universal) and a valid driver’s license, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Comprehensive benefits accompany onsite work at Greystar communities.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate golf cart on property where applicable.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Track materials, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Document service requests accurately for record-keeping and tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
