Job summary

Westminster is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, functional, and attractive for residents. You’ll fix plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances, perform make-readies, and handle general upkeep with a focus on customer service.

You’ll join a team that values problem-solving, attention to detail, and reliability. This on-site role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years of property maintenance, handyman work, or related field.
• Skills: Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs; certifications are a plus.
• License: Valid Driver’s License.
• Tech: Comfortable using work order systems or mobile apps to track tasks.
• Physical: Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Be the Fix-It Pro handling plumbing, electrical work, HVAC and appliance maintenance; complete make-readies for residents.
• Keep properties looking sharp with painting, carpentry and upkeep tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies; rotate on-call schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top shape.
• Collaborate with property management to prioritize repairs and plan for larger projects.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing concerns quickly and professionally.
