Job summary

Westminster is seeking a hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to keep our Southaven community safe, functional, and welcoming. You’ll tackle repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance systems, and prepare make-readies for new residents.

With 1–3 years of maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license, you’ll work with the on-site team, respond to emergencies, and track tasks with work-order apps.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance, handyman work, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Certified qualifications are a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Tech-savvy with work order systems or mobile apps.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and responsibility.
• Customer-focused and professional in resident interactions.

Responsibilities

• Repair a wide range of systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliances.
• Perform make-readies for incoming residents.
• Paint, carpentry and general upkeep to keep property looking its best.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies; participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance and collaborate with the property management team.
