Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools and safe use of tools as required.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Able to read, write, and communicate for the department.
• Proficient with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Mathematical skills for financial and administrative documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and diagnose defects.
• Oversee make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of the grounds and buildings.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors for quality.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate supplies within budget.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assist Community Manager with budget and capital projects.
