Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical maintenance across the community. You will diagnose issues, complete make-ready tasks, and ensure grounds and common areas meet Greystar quality standards.

Applicants should have relevant maintenance experience, EPA certifications, the ability to work with vendors, and a strong customer-service focus. The role is on-site with a robust benefits package and a schedule that may include evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to analyze problems and apply logical thinking.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues from resident service requests.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units and inspections.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and order supplies within budget.
