Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead the technical, mechanical, and maintenance operations at the community. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate service requests, and uphold safety and company standards.

The role involves completing work orders, managing the make-ready process for new residents, inspecting quality, and controlling costs while maintaining inventory and safety compliance. This full-time position is based on site at Greystar communities.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine maintenance by diagnosing issues and making repairs according to safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring timely completion.
• Develops and enforces cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, exteriors, and interiors to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by service staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance with policies and specifications.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and materials; coordinates with Community Manager to manage budget-friendly supplies.
• Performs monthly preventive maintenance procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Supports cost-control efforts by prioritizing repairs over replacements when feasible and using tools correctly.
