Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role requires 3–5 years of experience and proficiency with Yardi, Happy Co and RealPage.

Schedule: Monday–Friday; 9am–6pm, subject to change. Housing discount: 40% for eligible housing options. Must have own hand tools unless prohibited by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property management maintenance.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by State law.
• Ability to manage work orders and vendor coordination.
• Strong safety knowledge and OSHA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders generated from resident requests for service and performs routine maintenance.
• Oversees make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, building exteriors and common areas to reflect Greystar standards.
• Periodically inspects work by service team members and contractors and implements corrective actions.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and coordinates with Community Manager to order supplies within budget.
• Completes monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in policies.
• Assists in developing the budget for regular repairs and capital projects.
• Supports cost-cutting and efficient use of materials and tools.
• Leads safety meetings and ensures compliance with OSHA and safety laws.
