Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform mechanical work across community buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, complete make-ready tasks for vacant homes, schedule vendors, manage supplies, and assist with budgeting for repairs.

A high school diploma or GED and EPA HVAC certifications are required, with a valid driver’s license and strong customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; knowledgeable in safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to support management and residents.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications for HVAC work; valid driver’s license to operate vehicle on property.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests; diagnose causes and perform repairs.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units; inspect and coordinate vendors.
