Job summary

You will perform make-ready tasks, inspect appliances and infrastructure, and ensure compliance with policies and codes while promoting efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively to support management.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in accordance with safety standards and codes.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate contractors.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor inventory and assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-saving measures by fixing rather than replacing when possible.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain MSDS and OSHA-related records.
