Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee repairs, make-ready tasks, and routine upkeep across the community. You will diagnose issues, coordinate with vendors, maintain inventories, and ensure safety standards while delivering quality service to residents.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, hands-on maintenance experience, and EPA certifications. A valid driver’s license and basic software literacy are expected, with good customer communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools required unless prohibited by state law.
• Logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective written and spoken communication for internal/external interactions.
• Experience with basic software and MS Office; PM software preferred.
• Math skills for financial, administrative, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in units and common areas.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and buildings.
• Inspect work by team members to improve policies and procedures.
• Inspect work by contractors to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies within budget.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist Community Manager with repairs budget and capital projects.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
