Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of community buildings and grounds. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, manage make-readies, and coordinate with vendors while adhering to safety policies.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, preventative tasks, budgeting support, and customer service to residents, with flexible scheduling for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe use of tools.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets; property management system experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills to work with financial, administrative, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects from resident requests per policies and codes.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units, inspections, and scheduling.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, interiors and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work of team members and contractors; implement corrective actions.
• Inventory maintenance parts and coordinate with budgeting.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per manual.
