Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Gainesville, FL to assist with the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance. The technician supports make-ready tasks and operates under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Regular on-site attendance is required, with responsibilities spanning resident requests, unit upkeep, pool care, safety logs, and routine inspections.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in property management or maintenance preferred.
• Good communication and written skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community areas and units.
• Perform maintenance and make-ready tasks to ensure property standards.
• Maintain record-keeping for service requests, safety checks, and inventories.
• Assist with daily shop organization and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• Support maintenance supervisor with safety and training practices.
• Participate in on-call emergency maintenance as required.
