Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support on-site property maintenance across communities. responsibilities include corrective, preventive, routine and cosmetic work, as well as coordinating make-ready tasks under supervision.

You will respond to resident requests, inspect for hazards, and assist in daily upkeep and safety compliance. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of OSHA and Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Carry out make-ready tasks under supervision of Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features to identify and correct hazardous conditions.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs to extend life of the community and minimize future repairs.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Participate in unit inspections and assist with inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Support on-call emergency responses at the community and communicate with residents professionally.
