Job summary

Westminster Management is seeking an energetic Property Maintenance Technician to keep our residences safe, functional, and attractive. You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, complete make-readies for new residents, and provide friendly, professional service to residents and teammates.

You’ll handle on-call emergencies on a rotating schedule, conduct preventative maintenance, and support property teams with larger projects.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance, handyman work, or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs; certifications are a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Tech-savvy with work order systems or mobile apps to track tasks.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions.
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and strong sense of responsibility.
• Customer-focused with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Be the Fix-It Pro: handle repairs from plumbing/electrical to HVAC and appliance maintenance; complete make-readies for new residents.
• Keep it Pretty: painting, carpentry and general upkeep to maintain property appearance.
• Tackle Emergencies: respond to maintenance requests and emergencies; rotate on-call shifts.
• Stay Ahead: perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top condition.
• Collaborate: work with property management to prioritize repairs and plan larger projects.
• Wow Residents: provide exceptional customer service and address concerns promptly.
