Westminster Management in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to keep our communities safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. You will tackle repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-readies for incoming residents, while delivering responsive service.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance or handyman work.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with work order systems or mobile apps.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Handle repairs from plumbing/electrical to HVAC and appliance maintenance; complete make-readies.
• Perform painting, carpentry, and general upkeep to keep properties looking their best.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies; rotate on-call schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top condition.
• Collaborate with property management to prioritize repairs and plan major projects.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns quickly and professionally.
