Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Turn Help to assist in property maintenance across the community. You will support corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision and participate in the make-ready process to meet the property's operational objectives.

Daily duties include cleaning, grounds upkeep, responding to work orders, pool maintenance, and maintaining safety standards. The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork with the Maintenance Supervisor and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Clean, maintain grounds and make-ready units and common areas
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly
• Ensure repairs and replacements for community spaces
• Daily cleanup of exterior areas including grounds and common areas
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs
• Inspect grounds and buildings for hazards and liability concerns
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program
• Understand and follow Asset key policy
• Keep maintenance shop organized and safe
• Assist in hazard communications program and promote safe practices
• Participate in unit inspections as requested
• Report violations to supervision
• Use resources and materials efficiently
• Perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors
• Customer & Resident Relations
• Maintain excellent customer service and monitor response times
• Project a positive image of the community
• Enforce community policies as directed by supervisor
