Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior of community properties and assist the maintenance team. You will care for landscaping tools, clean make-readies, and help with daily tasks across common areas, pools, and offices, reporting issues to the supervisor as needed.

Requirements include at least one year of related experience, strong English communication, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work on-call and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks and work on call.
• Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work extended hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appearance of all property meets company standards.
• Assist the team with community functions and make-readies.
• Pick up litter daily and sweep/blow breezeways.
• Clean areas around dumpsters and vacant apartments.
• Maintain pool and common areas.
• Water plants and maintain sprinkler system.
• Mow, trim, reseed, and prune lawns and trees.
• Distribute notices and assist in maintenance tasks as directed.
