Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain exterior spaces and assist the maintenance team. Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, make-readies, and supporting functions while ensuring daily grounds care and safety compliance.

You will need at least one year of related experience, strong English communication, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work on-call and weekends. A bilingual Spanish ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work on call and extended hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the appearance of all property, including community spaces, meets Valiant Residential’s standards.
• Assist the team by supporting community functions.
• Pick up litter daily.
• Sweep and blow breezeways.
• Clean areas around dumpsters.
• Make-readies and assist maintenance as needed.
• Assist with pool maintenance.
• Water plants and maintain sprinkler system.
• Mow, trim, reseed, and replant lawns as needed.
• Weed lawns and planted areas and prune trees/shrubs.
• Address drainage and light bulb replacements as directed.
