Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an on-site Community Manager to oversee the complete operations of a housing community under regional supervision. You will manage staff, leasing, maintenance, financials, and risk controls to ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.

You will lead hiring, training, coaching and performance management while driving resident satisfaction, retention initiatives, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years’ experience in housing industry, or equivalent combination.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations of a housing community under Regional Manager supervision.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, administration and risk management.
• Develop operating budgets, monitor rents/expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide leadership to staff, screen/hire/train, and resolve performance issues.
• Ensure resident satisfaction and implement retention programs; handle resident concerns and complaints.
• Plan marketing and leasing strategies; maintain property appearance and safety standards.
