Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee a housing community on-site, supervising staff, leasing, maintenance, and financial activities. You will ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines while driving resident satisfaction and retention.

The role requires managing budgets, marketing plans, and on-site operations, with strong leadership and customer service skills to support a thriving community culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a housing community and supervise staff to ensure policy compliance.
• Manage leasing, marketing plans, and resident relations to maximize occupancy and retention.
• Develop and monitor yearly operating budgets/forecasts and financial reporting.
• Address resident concerns, emergencies, and ensure safety and service levels meet company standards.
