Job summary

Asset Living is hiring a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration, and risk management to ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

As an on-site leader, you will supervise staff, develop budgets, monitor rent collections, and coordinate with HR to maintain a high standard of resident service and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Supervise all aspects of property operations including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finances, administration & risk management.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor rent collections and vendor invoices.
• Ensure compliance with Asset policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.
• Lead emergency response for the property and manage staff performance and training.
• Plan marketing strategies and lease closures; maintain high resident satisfaction and retention.
