Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to lead an on-site housing community under the Regional Manager. You will oversee personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial operations, administration and risk management to ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.

As the on-site leader, you will supervise staff, develop annual budgets, monitor rents and vendor invoices, and implement resident retention programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the housing community on-site.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial operations, administration & risk management.
• Supervise staff, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; ensure policy compliance.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts; monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs and effective leasing strategies.
