Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned community, lead the onsite team, manage budgets, revenues, rents, and vendor relations while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations.

You will analyze financial statements, approve invoices, supervise staff, conduct property inspections, and drive occupant satisfaction and occupancy through effective marketing and leasing strategies, while maintaining safety and property standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to lead and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into budget development by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Sets rent rates and ensures timely collection of rent and fees, with regular financial reporting.
• Approves invoices and manages vendor communications and payments.
• Controls expenditures within approved budgets and manages petty cash.
• Oversees lease enforcement, including applications, renewals, inspections, notices, and evictions as needed.
• Analyzes market trends and implements leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints promptly and ensuring maintenance standards.
• Conducts regular property inspections and adheres to safety and appearance standards.
• Supervises staff: hiring, training, and performance management.
• Maintains client/owner relationships and provides performance updates.
