Job summary

Southern States Cooperative in Leesburg, VA is seeking an experienced service technician to install, maintain and repair propane and oil HVAC systems and related equipment. You will read blueprints, diagnose malfunctions and ensure compliance with federal and state codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Requires Petroleum and/or Propane Certification (or ability to obtain).
• May require Commercial Driver's License depending upon location.
• Two+ years of experience in propane/oil HVAC installation and repair.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair propane and/or oil systems and appliances per codes.
• Read blueprints and diagnose malfunctions; calibrate equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with facility leadership on scheduling and materials.
• Provide invoices and collect payments; confirm future service with customers.
• Safely operate SSC vehicles and load/deliver fuel as required.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper PPE usage in all tasks.
