Job summary

Southern States Cooperative seeks a skilled technician to install, maintain, and repair propane and/or oil heating systems for SSC customers, following codes and safety procedures. You will work with HVAC equipment and related appliances and coordinate with dispatch on schedules and materials.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in propane/oil heating installations, and a CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements.

Qualifications

• Requires two+ years in installation/repair of propane or oil heating systems.
• CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements required.
• Previous Southern States work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair propane/oil heating systems and related equipment per codes and procedures.
• Maintain regular communication with leadership regarding dispatching, schedules and material needs.
