Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Midwest, located in Belvidere, IL, is seeking a Project Manager with rebar and/or construction experience to lead detailing, scheduling, and delivery on complex projects. You will coordinate with detailers, vendors, and the contractor team to maximize profitability while delivering on contractual obligations.

Responsibilities include contract management, planning, safety adherence, and effective communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required.
• Demonstrated construction project management experience or experience as a rebar detailer.
• Ability to apply ACI codes and CRSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents and drawings and coordinate detailing efforts to supply products and services cost-effectively.
• Provide total contract management of each project including detailing, scheduling, delivery and costs.
• Coordinate project requirements with contractors, rebar installers, engineers and architects.
• Schedule detailing and delivery with contractors, detailers and production staff.
• Oversee adherence to change orders and project scope changes.
• Ensure safety policies and practices are followed on site.
