Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Northeast is seeking a Project Manager with experience in rebar and concrete construction to oversee complex projects from estimating to completion. The role involves coordinating detailing, schedules, deliveries, and costs while maintaining safety and profitability.

You will work with detailing staff, contractors, engineers, and architects to ensure contractual obligations are met. The ideal candidate has proven project management experience in construction or rebar

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated construction project management experience or experience as a rebar detailer.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety programs and standards.
• Review contract documents and drawings; coordinate detailing for cost-effective supply of products and services.
• Provide total contract management of each project, including detailing, scheduling, delivery and costs.
• Oversee contractual obligations on assigned project(s).
• Coordinate requirements with contractor representatives, rebar installers, engineers and architects.
• Schedule detailing and delivery with contractors, detailers, and production staff.
• Process changes per change order procedures and assist in change order negotiations.
• Explain plans and contract terms to staff and customers; represent the company in meetings.
