Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Midwest in Newton, IA is seeking a Detail/Project Manager with rebar and/or construction experience. Lead complex projects with multiple detailers, products, and vendors from estimating to final completion while maintaining a positive customer service environment and maximizing profits for Nucor Rebar Fabrication.

Role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience and demonstrated construction project management expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated construction project management experience.
• Experience coordinating detailing efforts and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents/drawings and coordinate detailing for cost efficiency.
• Provide total contract management of each project, including scheduling and delivery.
• Oversee contract obligations and communicate with contractors, detailers, engineers, and architects.
• Coordinate detailing and delivery with contractors and production staff.
• Assist in the change order process and ensure acceptance by the customer.
