Job summary

Nucor Corporation’s Newton, IA location seeks a Detailing/Project Manager for its Rebar Fabrication Midwest team. You will coordinate detailing, scheduling, and costs across multiple vendors, ensuring safety, profitability, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience is required.
• Demonstrated construction project management experience or extensive rebar detailing background.
• Knowledge of ACI and CRSI standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety programs and standards.
• Review contract documents and coordinate detailing efforts.
• Provide total contract management for each project.
• Oversee contractual obligations on assigned projects.
• Coordinate requirements with contractor, rebar installer, engineer and architect.
• Schedule detailing and delivery with contractors and production staff.
• Process changes per change order procedures.
• Assist in the change order process to final acceptance.
• Explain plans and contract terms to staff and customers.
• Represent the company in project meetings as needed.
• Help control financial aspects of contracts with Detailing Manager.
• Formulate reports on progress, costs and scheduling.
• Perform other duties as requested. Uphold safety policies.
