Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Project Leader for its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will oversee day-to-day project operations, manage change orders, and coordinate with owners, contractors, and design professionals on complex electronic security deployments.

This role requires a BS in EE or related field with 5+ years in construction, CPM scheduling experience, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Domestic travel to CONUS locations is anticipated.

Qualifications

• BS in EE or related field with 5+ years in electrical/construction.
• Experience with CPM scheduling and large-scale projects ($500k–$10M).
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section.
• Identify changes and manage change orders.
• Plan and monitor cash flow against expenses.
• Maintain as-builts and document issues/conditions.
• Plan and execute project completion and punch list.
• Read blueprints and project specifications.
• Prepare estimates and submittals for partially designed projects.
• Communicate with Owners, contractors and design professionals.
